Parent invitation to ‘Our Values’: Monday 10th February 9am-10:30am

During our recent INSET, staff and Governors spent the morning discussing your children and what we thought were the most important (core) values to teach them, during their primary years at Warnham.

We asked ourselves questions which included, which personal values / attributes do the children already hold and what else can we do to enhance their awareness of themselves and others, as they develop into strong members of their community.

We looked at the current ‘school motto’ ‘space to grow, wings to fly, shining for my maker’ and discussed whether this truly underpins our ambition for every child in the school.  It is paramount that parents and children are part of this important discussion as we work together to develop our core values; to further shape the vision of the school.

You are invited to come and explore your views surrounding ‘core values’ which will, ultimately, underpin the whole learning experience at Warnham CE Primary.  During this session, I will also invite some children from Key Stage 2 as representatives for the pupil’s voice and any staff and Governors who were unable to attend the INSET.

As you can imagine, sessions like this require a high level of planning so I’d be really grateful if you could sign up for the session by returning the slip below by Tuesday 4th February.
